Good.

1. The RB's. These guys definitely do not have the burst Langford did, but I see a lot more of Langford's 5 yard runs turning into 10-12 yard runs. Power and the ability to break tackles. As a group, the RB's looked very good. Pity London's long run was called back for something that didn't affect the play.

2. DL looked as advertised.

3. Solid LB play.

4. Nicholson and Copeland looked very good.

5. TE play.

6. Punter. Just shy of a 48 ypp average.

Not so good.

1. OL. Conklin looked great, but the interior did not dominate the way I thought they would have. The RT was whiffing more than he was hitting. Cook had to step up in the pocket on many of his passes.

2. WR's. Too many drops.

3. QB. Partly had to do with numbers 1 and 2, but even by his own admission, he was average at best.

4. Kick coverage (early). If a starting CB doesn't want to make a tackle on kick returns, put someone out there who does.

5. Kick offs. Seems like every game I've watched this year, the kickers are booting it through the end zone. Even in some of the high school games. Our guy seems to be 5-7 yards shorter.

6. Defensive scheme. Why is a LB attempting to cover a WR 30 yards down field?

Hey, it's a first game, on the road in a small stadium. No concerns. That said, if we see some of the same mistakes next week, there will be some concerns.
