I have thought a little about the proper way to handle tomorrow's Game Day and I think I have a good solution.

In general, MSU should take the high road. Welcome the Gameday crew with open arms. Make it a positive experience. Don't give the hacks at OTL any more grist for the mill. That is what they want. Don't give it to them.

BUT, I was listening to Rod's podcast this afternoon and he mentioned to possibility that Dan Murphey and/or Paula Lavinge might decide to also make an appearance to stir the pot. So, I thought of a solution to that as well.

If either Dan or Paula is observed on campus, they should immediately be taken into custody by MSU police. They should be told that the MSU Police were investigating a possible burglary on campus and the suspects matches their description. Perhaps they were trying to steal someone's reputation and were armed (with misinformation) and dangerous.

Based on the recent Department of Education report, the public should also be notified of this threat to the community, which the MSU Police would of course oblige. Dan and/or Paula would, of course, need to be held for questioning and possible over-night until the crisis was over and the real criminals were caught. Sunday morning, Dan and Paula would be free to go, and of course MSU would properly report this "crime" statistic to the Dept of Education.

(I am only about 75% kidding) :)
