I get that some folks love George Perles. I love George! I get that some time in the early 1950's he said that they all count one. Great. Maybe that year, they did. Maybe when you are trying to play your way out of the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl and into the Capital One Bowl, they all count one. When you are running with the Big Dogs and trying to compete for a National Championship, they don't all count one anymore.
When you are trying to prove yourself to be with the best of the absolute best you need win all your games and some of them you really need to look pretty while winning. You never want to be the team that is just sliding by each and every game because when you lose, they all told you so. One loss teams are going to get into the Final Four. You want to look good enough in your wins that when you lose, people say, that wasn't them.
I think some count two, and, some only count if you lose.
