Obviously the most important thing I hope to see is continued winning but a couple things I would like to see that I think would contribute to this is:
Improved secondary (this one is almost too obvious as evidenced by the many such topics on the Bunker)
Improved special teams. Yeah Geiger has struggled but our return game has a lot to be desired. This has been the case since we had Kiwi. I am sterting to belive that Coach D just prioritizes ball control so much more than a potential big return that he has instructed our punt and kickoff returners to never reverse field, instead, focus on the catch, secure the ball and take what might be available straight ahead.
Next, I hope to see the offense reverse the ball some. The Purdue defense was often all on the ball side pursuing the ball carrier. Sure seems like the was some opportunity for a counter or similar play against an agressive defense.
Screen play. It is amazing to me that such a staple of play action is not more utilized (successfuly) here.
