Assuming things play out the way we think they will in the next few weeks, I was thinking of how we could build on our recruiting momentum in the fall. I think most of our committed recruits are talking about visiting for the Oregon game, which could be the most interesting game in college football in September. Since we will have a lot of our 2016 class filled, it would be great to focus on getting visits from as many 2017 recruits as possible from Ohio, Michigan, Illinois and Indiana. We will have just had a great recruiting class in each of those 4 states, and we would have ambassadors like Corley, deWeaver, Layne, King, Robertson and others to help convince kids to attend the game.

U of M will be scrambling to get visits from 2016 prospects, this momentum could give us a great chance to get a jump on 2017. And the Oregon game is perfectly timed to get a head start on that class.
