um beats (no crushes) a ranked team, early in harbaugh's tenure. State is struggling, and somehow loses---we all know the bounces of the ball etc. And the headline's r michicken is back, #2 little brother loses etc. And what if they went on to beat us this year---- Talk about a perfect storm for us to lose a ton of mo'. Winning this game ended up being huge. Now it's like um has great game--State wins too.---that's fine can live there.
Aside, went out during the game and in car listened on sirius--guys on ESPN radio were gushing when um scored their first TD---"wow this is a Schembechler type team---yada-yada. I almost puked with the BS---but they won big.
Don't discount momentum and a media that luvs to hype um. This is a big win!
