This is exactly what we needed. We went into the game, not trying to destroy a team, but try a whole lot of different things and played a ton of players. If we would have played the main group all of the game, this game would not have been close. But, playing this WMU team was the best thing for MSU next week. Went against a high quality offense with a good quarterback and two very good WRs. Probably the best duo we will see this year. Davis and Braverman are no joke. This WMU team won 8 games last year and have a good offense. They are poised to have a big year on offense. They are no slouch. There will be a workman like attitude this week, much more so than if this would have been a cake walk. We will look back on this game and say it propelled us for the rest of the season.
