I kind of compare this weekends road game to the @ Iowa game in 2013 when the entire season turned around. I believe we were 4-1 at the time with a loss to ND. We were coming off a terrible 2012 season and looked horrible in the first 5 games, most of which were at home. Then came the season changing game for MSU...On the road, no distractions and played great football.
I think several players start to play really good football this weekend and it carries through the season. Here is to hoping the following things get better which doesn't include getting healthy:
1) Madaris steps up and gives us that #3 guy behind AB and Kings.
2) Nicholson makes some big hits and makes several solo tackles to get his confidence back...Can't play safety without confidence
3) Both CB's continue their solid play from last week
4) We start to get home on the blitz and start making teams fear our D again
5) Geiger hits all his FG attempts right down the middle.
6) Cook has his best game of the season with 4 TD passes
7) No new injuries to report after the game
