Sorry to vent but I need to do so. During the optional seat reallocation I moved my seats from the East Upper Stands to the lower East stands. As a result I now owe a scholarship donation of $300 per seat. Not a problem as I donate every year and now some of it will go toward my seat donation.
I want to pay the $600 by 6/30/15 so it will be added to this years donation. But every time I log on to the Spartan Fund it never shows the $600 that I need to donate.
Today I called the Spartan Fund and was told that they still show my seats being in the upper stands with no required donation. They transfer me to the ticket office who also tells me that my tickets are still in the upper stands. They question whether I completed the ticket reallocation properly and if I got a confirmation email. Yes I did and bring it up to read to him.
After being on hold for a significant time, I am told that the tickets I chose should not have been shown as available because they were not. So rather than choosing tickets that were available I chose the tickets that were not. Of course they never told me this until I called them. Other wise I would have been surprised when my tickets came in the mail to see I still had the same seats.
They did still have tickets in the lower stands for me but of course they are closer to the end zone and in the absolute center of a section rather than on the aisle which was part of the reason I choose those tickets.
Needless to say right now I am not pleased with the ticket office. Sorry to vent.
