Michigan vs BYU at noon on
Saturday.

Current line is 4.5 points with UM favored.

Here's UM's depth chart for BYU.....

UM's front 7 is very heavy with 3 DL at 300 pds and the smallest LB at 237 pds. The backups are also quite heavy.
Seems like most their players picked up 10-15 pds in their front 7 and OL with Harbaugh coming onboard as coach. Definitely looks like he's trying to emulate his Stanford teams in regards to style.

James Ross is surprising at weak side LB at 241 pds.

They definitely appear to be taking a different approach than MSU where players dropped weight to focus on speed and dealing with the offenses of Oregon, Baylor and OSU or other high octane Os like TCU, etc.

I guess that's fine in the Big Ten with the lack of explosive offenses and if you don't schedule any OOC high octane teams.

Should be interesting to see how UM's D handles the BYU passing attack....especially with all the accolades and positive press I'm hearing about the UM D.
