19 year old freshmen enroll over the years, every school has. They had a top 100 kid out of Ohio a few years ago was one of them. They also had a DL that I remember turning 20 in the fall of fresh year.
I have mixed feeling on situation. I will say this, my son was born in summer and I "red-shirted" him before kindergarten. All the teachers we spoke with said boys with late summer birthdays..."do it". It has been great for his maturity. Only time will tell if it pays off from an athletic standpoint.
Peters is a good player, but IMO he is not an Elite type in the Chad Henne mold. It is odd how UM fans base seems to be looking for their Kirk Cousins more than the next Henne?
