UM had a 1hour 45minute open practice Sat night for students.

The link is a report of the 11 on 11 scrimmage and 1st and 2nd teams along with indications of possible injuries and player movement onto 1st string different than many press writers have assumed.

However, you always have to be careful by extrapolating from one practice.

Keep in mind some players might miss a practice from time to time, so Lewis missing at CB probably means nothing.

Things standing out from the article:

1) Rudock took all first team reps & Morris 2nd string. Rudock appeared to lead the O fairly well.

2) Big difference between 1st string and second string OL. Expected starting line holds true with Cole, Braden, Glasgow, Kalis and Magnusson from LT to RT. All have some degree of starting experience.
Kugler expected to be on 2nd team on crutches. (Experienced depth an issue with LTT, Bars, and Dawson main guys on 2nd team of note.)

3) safeties as expected, though Lyons not on 1st string corners even without Lewis and is 2nd string safety. At nickel D, Delano Hill enters and Peppers goes to slot.

4) Darboh has splint injury on pinkie finger....starting WRs are Drake Harris and Chesson. Of course Butt at TE.

5) Deveon Smith 1st string RB with Isaac and Green behind him.

6) surprising to see Willie Henry at DE with Ojemudjia....expect Charlton here also.....Glasgow at DT with Godin, that leaves Wormley who is not mentioned but I expect to start and play both DT/DE. (Maybe writer made a mistake here.)

7) expected trio of senior LB starters in Bolden, Ross and Morgan

8) FG kicking appears weak as has been the WOTS....punting fine with grad transfer O'Neill
