UM just updated their recruiting chart for 2016 (One year from now). They will lose 12 SR's, and they already have 22 commits. If they had zero attrition, they are at 90 players already, and they are still recruiting actively for about 5 or 6 more players (or even more).
Here is the recruiting chart:

It will be very interesting to see what Harbaugh does. I think he'll get 5 more commits, which takes him to 95. Will he:
- not renew the scholarships of some of his players?
- Pull the scholarships from some his commits?
- Benefit from normal attrition
- Force some attrition, which is the same as pulling scholarships, just done with some finesse
Notice that the update in the link above says - " Michigan is committed to 54 scholarships for the 2016 season, plus 14 seniors that are eligible for a fifth year. If all 14 were to return for one final season, the Maize and Blue would have 17 scholarships to hand out to the current recruiting class, but considering U-M already has 22 verbal pledges, it is clear the coaches are expecting attrition and/or are not expecting to renew the scholarships for at least half the fifth-year senior class."
That is interesting, since that would be a new practice at UM, and wouldn't sit well with a lot of players on the team, and their former HS coaches.
I'll be watching these developments.
