1) They have 4 very good players. That RB will play on Sunday's - great job after contact. Peppers looks great. Butts looks All-Big10 and Wormley looks like a player....The rest of the team is garbage. Noe of them would start on a UM team from a decade ago.
2) Wow has their QB position gone to shit. I remember they were on a roll with guys like Henson, Brady, Grbac, Mallett, etc. Now MSU is on a roll at the QB. Stanton, Smoker, Hoyer, Cousins, Cook...Modern game is about QB play.
3) Is our 3rd string QB (Terry) better than the UM starter? Seriously, would Terry start for UM?
4) Can they show us more sideline shots of Captain Comeback? Can the dude pull his pants up any higher? When he gets older those suckers will be over his rib cage.
5) UM is going to be in close games all year with a few exceptions. Jimmy coaches the game to keep it close. If there was ever a team/year that UM needed a SR stud kicker this was it because they will be in a lot of close games versus bad teams and it might come down to a kick.
6) Defensive team speed - can you say Slooowwww, outside of Peppers.
MSU vs. UM match-up. Wow, does this one NOT match-up well for Captain Comeback's bunch. Think about it...Their Oline looks like shit (again), they have no WR's and the QB is an Iowa retread. What does MSU have trouble with? Great QB's with great WR's beating them with the deep ball. MSU doesn't struggle to stop great RB's or TE's and that is all UM has. MSU will pound that RB and they will double Butt. UM's defensive line isn't very good as MSU Oline will own them. Huge advantage at QB. Game could get Fugly...
