Verlander pitched very well tonight in a tough park. He went 8 innings and gave up 1 walk. 7 hits, no walks, 3 SOs. Best game of the season for him. Too bad it looks like much was the same for Porcello. The Tigers have lost the last two games due to not scoring enough runs. They are still very much in the thick of things as far as the WC goes. Only a few games out and it is still July. Make a couple trades to get a couple pitchers, get miggy back, stay healthy, and the Tigers have a great shot at getting a WC imo. Just need a little more consistency and the former will help that.
