this past week. My parents have a house on Burt Lake and I had to make my way into town twice.
On the second visit, I went into the local souvenir shop to browse for some things. Just outside of the shop was a tent sale for items that they were trying to get rid of there... I walk in and there was quite a bit of UofM items - chairs, flip-flops, etc. Not a single MSU thing. I asked the cashier where the MSU chairs and items were and she said they sold out instantly a while ago...also gotta believe those items weren't just bought by alum based on location. Glad to see the state of MI going green. I don't hear/see this as I live in Chicago.
BTW, if you visit those parts and like smoked fish, go to the fish-house next to the mini golf course in town. They are pumping out GREAT smoked fish.
