as I was looking at where all our players were class wise, we lose a lot. I did not realize how much we lost.
Top 10 QB gone...Will be breaking in a new one whether it is OConnor for one year or Terry for two. Terry, imo, has not impressed whatsoever. We could go a few ways. OConnor then Terry then Lewerke. 3 in 3 years is unlikely. OConnor or Terry then Lewerke. Not sure how Weaver will fit into all this. But, I bet he is the QB no later than his junior year. When that class is playing many snaps (2016), I predict a national championship!
All Americans Jack Allen and top 10 pick Jack Conklin (most likely) and Clark (if I remember correctly). That is a lot to replace up front.
WRs: Kings, Troup, Arnett, Burbridge. A lot of young WRs will play next year.
DLine: First round Calhoun, LT, Knox, and Heath. 3 starters. Thank goodness we have lots of depth at this position. Will need to take quiet a few in 17 as well.
Replacing one LB. Our LB core should be even better next year.
DBs: Replacing Williamson. How good will our back seven be next year?!
On top of all this, I looked at our schedule and it is very tough. I hope we can get to 9 wins.
But, in 17, we will definitely be back to 11+ wins!
