1) The front 4 was lights out that day. A guy who did not get a lot of hype, but played his butt off all day long was Anthony Rashad-White. He clogged up middle all day long and like Worthy, never came off the field. He was a NFL level DT that day.
2) The LB's were money as well. Bullough, Norman and Allen. When Norman was healthy, he was very good. Unfortunately we rarely saw him at 100% health. This bowl game though he was.
3) Trenton Robinson was a real liability in coverage. Georgia obviously recognized that and went deep multiple times. With Robinson and Lewis you had 2 guys who wanted to support the run so much. Contrast that with Lewis and Drummond who complemented each other much better.
4) This was easily one of Cousins worst games and you can see that habit he has of sometimes trying to force something. That same trait has hurt him in the NFL.
5) Brian Linthicum was a valuable weapon. MSU has some quality TE's, but not sure they have anything with his skill set. It will be interesting to see if MSU tries to use Chmura or Sokol in that type of role moving forward.
6) Dan Conroy is somewhat overlooked, but he was money. He made some HUGE FG's for MSU during his career, including a few 50-yarders. He is sandwiched between Swenson and Geiger, but his FG % is #3 all time for MSU. Game winning kicks in Outback and Buffalo Wild Wings plus 80 straight PAT's.
