What I'm concerned about -on offense, anyway...

Was the inability to generate a clock-consuming drive later in the 2nd half. The Miller Guy had that excellent post where he embedded video clips, ala Comp, to defend Cook's decisions not to tuck and run. Personally, I wonder/doubt a bit if MD specifically said, "Don't run!" in the 4th Quarter. Hell, that thing was getting a bit dicey. If they would've scored with about 4 minutes to go, it would've opened up the possibility of an onside kick, etc. I know -low probability. But Coach D has seen it happen mannnnny times, and I'm sure was more than mildly concerned.

Anyways, yes, very disappointed that we lacked a more clear go-to WR. Western was all over the Price/TE routes at the end, knowing Cook was going to go there. My question is what became of all this talk of having a check-down RB? Millerguy/others, did CC look for that during the game? Was it there? Should it have been? I'm not astute to know all the proper counterattack strategies, but we just looked really feeble/predictable at the end, and I'm not buying it's solely because Cook was on a short leash: MD was playing to win in the 4th.
