The Spartans host Northwestern Sunday and travel to Purdue next week to finish up the regular season.

With 18 Big Ten teams and only 11 regular season games, the tournament definitely decides things.

This year’s Big Ten tournament features a 10-team format with the first round and quarterfinals scheduled for Oct. 31 thru Nov. 3 at the University of Minnesota. The semifinals & championship match will be held at the home of Major League Soccer’s St. Louis CITY SC, on November 7 and 10.

MSU's next goal will be to clinch a first round bye by finishing in the top six.
