Watching a DVR of BYU game. UM awarded two inexplicable personal foul late hit penalties against Rudock in first half, keeping sticks moving. First on late hit OB where Rudock is scrambling and actually jumped in the air before going out of bounds as he headed for 1st down marker, BYU player hits him in the air... Late hit OOB. In second quarter BYU bliztes hits Rudock as he is throwing, can't step into throw, puts up a duck that hit a BYU player and should have been picked. Late Hit, First down. Spielman was speechless on both plays. Looks like the refs are buying into Hype! BYU gave up 290 yds rushing week before to UCLA, this game was a bad matchup for them. UM defense played well.
