Turnovers, drops, overthrown easy TD, (again), drops, defensive busts, missed tackles....this team makes more mistakes than it’s possible to count.
There’s talent there, but we kill ourselves over and over again. And our defense is not close to elite as we thought it was (not close), so our ability to hang in is not what we thought it would be.
We actually have talent, like I said, but it’s not good enough to overcome the non-stop mistakes we make. Shame. And there is NO WAY anybody can put it on coaching. Plenty of plays to have been made that simply aren’t...on both sides of the ball.
Should find a way to win 7 or 8 games, but thinking that’s our ceiling. Hurting itself is the defining quality of this team. It’s this teams identity. So be it. We’re at the half point of the year, so we know what we are and are not. Looks like it’s just going to be that way this year.
