Nobody knows given the secrecy surrounding this search. My concerns, and they might be unfounded are:
1. If we end with the worst record in the conference, what big name coach would give up a good gig with a respectable record would want to start a total rebuild? Would we be settling for someone in who is a coordinator in a big program but lacking HC experience?
2. Haller needs to act quickly or it is possible that most of the 2024 recruits opt to de commit. In addition, the gates to the transfer portal might swing open.
I am posting worst case scenarios. There is a major need to bring in a coach with name recognition that will hold the fort in 2024 and make major strides going forward to become a respected program again.
