“Andrew never swayed at all (on his commitment to Michigan State),” Losching said. “He wanted to shut it all down. People were calling him and he was just like, ‘I'm not interested’ (repeatedly). And there were a couple of coaches that continuously called him and he's just like, ‘Mom, can you please tell them to stop?’
“He said ‘I gave my word that this is where I wanted to go. What, what would that say about my character and integrity if I went back and said no to (MSU)? I told him that I wanted to commit.’”
