OFF TOPIC: EL and Close by Restaurant Recommendations Please

We’re headed in EL tomorrow (from California) and I’m looking for dinner restaurants that are not in downtown EL that those in the know would recommend. Both our kids recently graduated from MSU, so we’ve done all the downtown restaurants over the past six years. We’re looking for a good restaurant or two where we won’t have to battle the downtown crowds this weekend.

Any recommendations are appreciated.
