OFF TOPIC: Gold/platinum investment experts?

Hello,

MIL has quite a bit (six figures) invested at Roslin capital in American eagle gold coins that are like 2400 or 2700 an oz right now. The person at Roslin is saying she should take 30 to 35% of that and move it to platinum. Not sure if that's a good move or not?
