too far from MSU and in SE MI
Certainly hope Haller reviews the tailgating situation.

Couldn't find the previous post about our stadium being positioned in the middle of our beautiful campus. THAT is a HUGE plus for MSU and it is NOT being PROMOTED well presently.

The students are behaving these days. The student behavior rules are stronger and they appear to be following them NOW. Tailgating was discouraged due to the embarrassing behavior and riots that involved out of East Lansing participants. They should be reminded of the past behavior, consequences and rewarded for their current behavior!!

Tailgaters on campus NOW should be treated better. Someone should critique the areas of campus re: parking and facilities.

Alumni who have donated for decades tend to be older. There is NO way older alumni should have to stand in line for 3 porta potties. Do you realize how many Senior loyal fans choose to not tailgate with their families or attend games due to this over sight?

Many LOYAL Spartans decide to NOT attend since many cannot plan a bathroom trip within a half hour window. Many are NOT used to the grossness of porta potties. How many can walk a mile to the stadium with no benches available? How many can climb crowded aisles with no railings? Talking to our very loyal group of Senior Spartan fans, most can't. MSU does offer seat benches for $60 for the season which make the game possible for many Seniors. Perhaps, a level between the regular sections and the handicapped would help. A bit more room between people for the crowded walk by people to your seat and the seat backs which are very close sideways and front and back. Perhaps, some of those Welcome to MSU students or more security for those sections as people enter or leave.

As we left our area of 3 portapotties within sight, surrounding R2 the computer ramp on the BANKS of the Red Cedar, there were 4 portapotties by a street out of site of ALL tailgaters. Someone placed them there away from any grassy area of tailgaters. Whoever made that decision was not thinking or hoping to hurt the tailgaters. Perhaps, someone should create an overlay of thousand dollar donations and bathrooms. Seems to be a huge over sight. Open a few bathrooms by donation lots and heavy traffic to the stadium. Have oversight to protect the buildings. One problem 15 years ago should be attempted to be solved. Not closed and never opened.

This situation on this BEAUTIFUL campus is a waste of wonder. The visitors we've talked to always mention our campus. USE our landgrant positive. Many more city like campuses are just buildings, sidewalks and busses. Our University is situated in a parklike setting. Promote our beautiful, campus of higher learning.
