I heard the announcers making a deal of the interception Thorne tossed while deep in WMU territory. The major complaint: Thorne scrambled and threw across his body. While watching the replay, the pass looked on target...a very athletic play by Thorne. To me, the issue was the receiver did not go to the ball, but, instead, was moving toward the goal line. Am I wrong that the receiver should be coming back to the QB on a scramble like that?
