I heard over the weekend that Michigan State offensive graduate assistant/assistant wide receivers coach Tino Smith has left the Spartans. He has accepted a full-time head wide receivers coaching job at the FCS level. It should be announced soon (perhaps today), but our subscribers know first. I will keep the school to myself until it becomes public. Smith worked with Courtney Hawkins in 2023 and was expected to be kept on the new staff under Hawkins and Jonathan Smith in 2024, but now he has a full-time opportunity of his own. I think he is a rising star in the coaching ranks, so watch out for him to keep climbing.
