The internet is so prone to false bravado and key board muscle flexing. Road rage on line.

If MSU took a defiant posture what do you realistically think would've happened with the tunnel incident.? We would have won in the media game? The video you have seen a dozen times wold have been shown three times more complete with redundant editorial on how thuggish sports have gotten and MSU leads the way. The righteous among us would have stood aghast. There was no winning this PR battle once that video was released.

So, they did the smart thing and worried about their own house and about their players futures. They knew it would have to go away on its own. What good is some stupid defiant sound bite for the media ? It only gives them more ammunition. Izzo is the only person at MSU who could have called it what it is and he did that.

We were wrong and we imposed the requisite discipline and maybe then some. Did all these players deserve a four game suspension? Probably not but the worst case is the conference would come in and impose additional penalties beyond the $100,00 fine. Then it would all be resurfaced again. More reason for Dave R to wet his pants on the B10 network.

F Michigan. They do what they do and this is another in a series but we don't control that. Personally I'd love to tell Michigan to take a flying leap and we will see you in 2025.

I'm personally proud of the way MSU has handled it. It sucks but it is what it is. We didn't make it worse and we couldn't really have made it better.
