Last night was a tough one for the Spartans, but the two players that MSU sent to talk to the media were, dare I say... upbeat? There was almost a feeling of relief and accomplishment of going through something very difficult and coming through stronger because of it.
I have a feeling that off season attrition may be lighter than some people felt in mid-September. Carter talked a lot about the unity in the locker room, and I believe him. The next few days and weeks will be interesting, but the feeling that the program can get back on track quickly is real. But, the proof will be in the pudding.
