I’m not well informed about how all the bowls choose teams. From what I understand there are contractual agreements between certain bowls and certain conferences.
That being said, is it due to our unbalanced Big Ten conference alignment that Purdue is in this game? Because they “won” the Big Ten East? I don’t think W/L record tells the story of any team coming out of that side of the B1G. Who didn’t think this was going to be a slaughter? This is a terrible game and a terrible look for the Big Ten.
