I know people are soon going to ask about the message posted by an analyst elsewhere that "Benny won't sign early and Michigan is very much alive."
First of all, Benny was never supposed to sign early. Signing late was always his plan.
Second of all, maybe it's possible he still responds to texts from Michigan, making Steve's post technically true.
However, Benny maintains that he's solid and has put in so much recruiting work for MSU in the last month that I'm still not ready to believe anyone else is a significant threat to MSU.
That's my position on it as of today's date, before someone else starts a meltdown thread.
Could that change? Yes.
But based on where things stand today, I don't see how anything new has happened in this situation leading to panic.
