We will do our best to continue to make this site an exciting, dynamic, diverse, and safe place to discuss our favorite topic: Michigan State sports.
As a general rule, the guidelines of this new site mirror the Community Guidelines of the parent organization, Yahoo Sports.
Those guidelines are summarized as:
Be a good citizen. Interact, connect, and treat others with respect. Don’t engage in name-calling, insults, or gratuitous attacks on others. Refrain from posting content that stereotypes people in an insulting, harmful, or abusive way.
In addition, and for clarification, discussions of politics, inappropriate language, personal attacks, advertising other premium site(s), troll posts, using someone's real name, name calling, using offensive slurs, inappropriate use of private messages, threats, hate speech, violence, adult content, illegal activity, non-genuine behavior, spamming, and copyright violations are all activities which are prohibited.
Failure to follow these guidelines will result in posts being deleted and the potential suspension of account, either temporarily or permanently in extreme cases.
In short, it’s OK to disagree, but be nice, be civil, and Go Green.
