Powerful story from The Rink Live this week in MSU recruit Tucker Shedd. The defenseman's ETA to arrive is 2023-24. Currently, he's with the Omaha Lancers in the USHL.
When he was nine years old, he watched his mom fight cancer. Now he uses that experience to fuel his off-ice charity Mini Sticks, helping other families fight cancer. Shedd says he gets all of his toughness from his mom. He even took a skate to the neck last season and his first immediate thought was "it could always be worse."
