All you guys ginning up these intellectual arguments for shifting the blame to UM need to understand we’ve already lost the PR battle. As soon as the videos came out, it was over. In this day and age, people form snap impressions from the first thing they see. The video is shocking (to most). Breaking it down frame by frame like the Zapruder film is not going to change the public perception. No explanation is going to change anyone’s minds. Blame will never shift to UM.
The best we can hope for is the Big Ten applies the same disciplinary principles as the UM-Wisky BBall fight. Also uses the investigation to consider recent events at UM and uses this as an opportunity to call out the lack of security and organization in the tunnel. But there will be no condemning of Harbaugh and MSU will not be vindicated in any way. Sooner you acknowledge this the easier it will be to move on.
