No, not with the team and quality of play on the field (well, OK, a little bit, but satisfaction is a combination of expectations and outcomes. My expectations for this season were low, so the outcomes are leaving me only slightly in-satisfied). Nope, my unhappiness is due to two aspects of the game day experience.
1. Replays in the stadium: how is it friends can txt me what they saw on replay at home yet those of us in the stadium are left with watching paint peal off a Spartan helmet. Was that a late hit that knocked Chiles out of the game? How about the holding non-calls on IU. SOMEONE has got to take responsibility for replays!
2. Student entry….We never enter the stadium from the south, but today, a tailgate invitation to the vicinity of the International Center had us going in that way. At 3:15 PM the line for student entry was all the way south to Shaw lane, east to Red Cedar, then north far past the STEM education building. I asked a couple of students how long they had been in line, and they said over an hour! My observation is that the line was not moving. This has been a problem for at least a couple of years….someone in the athletic department must figure this out…no wonder students seem so fickle.
Problems that are on going, yet easily fixable are ridiculous……Our university can do better!
