Just wanted to share some data as I was updating my spreadsheet tracking 2007 born players who have made public commitments to college hockey programs today. For some background, this season (since Aug 1, 2023) has been when 2007 born players have been open to committing. The majority of these players are likely HS Juniors, but in hockey class standing isn't necessarily the indicator of when you will arrive on a college campus. The top players on this list will likely be in college hockey Fall 2026 but many of these plays will be later with them being able to play junior hockey through Fall 2027-Spring 2028, meaning they may enroll in college hockey as late as Fall 2028.
