Jake Merklinger, a 2024 four-star quarterback out of Savannah, Georgia, confirms with me that he will be visiting Michigan State on March 18.

Merklinger is a top target for offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach Jay Johnson, and ranks as the No. 7 quarterback in the 2024 class.

This is a big time visitor for the Spartans.
