Danny O'Neil, a 2024 three-star quarterback, returned to East Lansing earlier this week to check out a Michigan State spring practice, talk to the coaches and continue to build a relationship with the program. It was his second time on campus.
While O'Neil is still waiting for the Spartans to offer, he is a guy they are keeping close tabs on.
"It was really good," O'Neil said about the visit. "(I) got there before practice to sit through meetings. It was just install for about 45 minutes then they showed me what the facilities are going to look like in a few months. Got to see practice and watch how Coach Johnson coached. I really like how he lets the QBs take over the offense and check in and out of plays."
