Michigan State has a new linebacker target in the 2025 class. The Spartans offered a scholarship to three-star prospect Cooper Catalano on Thursday during his unofficial visit in East Lansing.
Catalano, who already ranks as the No. 4 player in the state of Wisconsin and the No. 20 inside linebacker in the 2025 class, spoke to Spartans Illustrated about his Michigan State offer and visit.
"It felt great," Catalano said about the MSU offer. "I really wasn’t expecting an offer from this visit. I don’t take these things lightly, so it really means a lot. I got to really see the whole campus — toured the facilities, weight room, campus, got to look at where the new facilities were being built and what they are going to look like."
