Beginning in 2024, SEC football will be exclusively on ESPN/ABC.

CBS losing out.

But ESPN's pro-SEC narrative will have even more reason to strengthen. And anything that's not the SEC, step aside.

(Anyone notice how often ESPN mentioned the tally of the Big Ten/ACC Challenge during the Illinois-Duke game? I watched the entire second half and didn't hear a peep, until after the game was over, they showed the scoreboard for like five seconds: Big Ten 8, ACC 1 or whatever it was. And the announcers DID NOT MENTION THE SCORE while the conference scoreboard was up. It's been like that for years. Except when the ACC is leading, and then the scoreboard gets mentioned multiple times per game. Anyone notice this? And we shouldn't be surprised. This is what the business of college sports has become. The Big Ten will still have a presence on ESPN, but it won't be a "partner" of the ESPN's. Big difference. This will end up like the old WWE vs WCW ratings wars.)
