The Big Ten followed up a 7-0 non-conference sweep on Friday with a 3-2 Saturday record.

Michigan, Michigan State, and Wisconsin all won. Wisconsin's sweep over #10 UMD certainly raises an eyebrow. Notre Dame lost to Western 4-0 and Minnesota lost to North Dakota 5-4 in OT.

Ohio State & Penn State both started their series on Thursday which they won on Thursday night. So the Big Ten capped an impressive 12-2 mark on the weekend.

The PairWise as it sits now is showing positive reflections of the B1G :

Michigan - #3 (5-1-0)
Penn State - #4 (6-0-0)
Ohio State - #7 (6-1-1)
Michigan State - #12 (4-2-0)
Minnesota - #15 (4-2-0)
Notre Dame - #16 (3-2-1)
Wisconsin - #34 (2-4-0)

This at a minimum will help as the conference begins to beat up on each other this week. A full slate of B1G games:

Michigan State at Notre Dame
Minnesota at Ohio State
Penn State at Wisconsin

With Michigan taking on WMU in a home & home non-conference series.

This is Michigan State's first big road test against a normally physical & disciplined team that hasn't looked the part so far this year, but they have had some tough road contests. This also starts a stretch of 8 straight conference games for MSU. The Irish have been very good at home so far going 3-0 and outscoring their opponents 10-5 in those 3 games (3-1, 5-4, 2-0). They are winless on the road so far (0-2-1), with losses to Denver & Western and a tie at Air Force.
