If anyone is watching the Bengals game tonight have you noticed on some passing downs how they move the RB into the A gap nearly on the line of scrimmage with the Oline?
I don't know if I've seen that before and I think there's a good reason why I haven't seen it (it doesn't work). Why wouldn't you want the RB in the backfield trying to pick up a defender that gets past the oline? Having a small RB trying to block a dlineman at the point of attack seems like a terrible idea.
