The expectations were huge preseason. The reality is setting in. As of tonight, we are not a national champion or even a final four candidate.
We play a tough schedule, but we have lost to 3 top ten teams- Tennessee, Duke and Arizona. You can say all you want about Izzo magic, and he is a HOF coach and absolutely great.. However he does not have the front line bigs To get us to the promised land. Sissoko and Cooper are good role players but not dominant whatsoever. We are basically a perimeter team with great guard play, but if the shots are not going in, we have a problem.
is there a solution? Will Kholer make a difference? Can Xavier Brooks step in? He was one of the top 5 players in high school, but is hardly been a factor. He did not get any minutes tonight. Why?
