When Michigan State needed a spark in its opening NCAA Tournament game, the Spartans turned to forward Coen Carr.
Carr recorded a career-high 18 points (15 in the first half) and nine rebounds.
"I say the same thing every time, I just try to give my team a spark when I can," Carr said. "I try to play hard, do my (part), play my role. I just saw us coming out flat, you know, and I just didn't want my team to lose today, so I just tried to come out there and play as hard as I can."
