My biggest takeaway is the claim that Scottie Hazelton and Mel Tucker didn't mix things up on defense is inaccurate.
Also interesting, though, Michigan State's 2022 passing defense was the best in the Mel Tucker era in terms of yards per game allowed (237.9), but it was also the worst in terms of yards allowed per pass attempt (7.93).
