Michigan State got off to a great start on Saturday with a win at Illinois to kickoff the four-game gauntlet that will determine the Spartans' Big Ten fate. But the next two games loom larger than ever. Here I break down the odds of how it all might go down.

The basic idea is this:

If MSU can win the two games this week, they are in great shape. If they split, things get dicey. That said, there is still overwhelming evidence that Michigan is overrated and bound to regress to the mean. I have been saying that for a few weeks now and it's still true. But at some point someone needs to actually beat them. It damn better be MSU. I feel that it is the Spartans duty and responsibility to prevent the Wolverines from winning a Big Ten Title. Obviously, the Buckeyes are not up to the talk. Stupid Ohio State... YOU HAVE ONE JOB!

As always, enjoy!
