OFF TOPIC: Fewer than 10,000 Americans have been tested

For all of you using the small number of US cases of COVID 19 to blame the media for your stock portfolio and lack of basketball... Less than 10,000 people have been tested for the virus in the US. That’s less than what some countries are testing for in a single day. We have these cancellations and calls for mass self-quarantine now partly because we don’t know who has it and haven’t been able to isolate the Patient Zeros.

Senators on both sides of the aisle are furious about it.

Social distancing is necessary because of how long it stays in peoples’ systems: a median of 20 days.

Even those who have tested positive haven’t made the news yet. My friend’s roommate has now been confirmed as having the virus and that hasn’t been reported anywhere here in Indiana.
