I probably incur the wrath of some, but got to call a spade a spade.
I attended MSU in the 70's and have lived and died with MSU BB since the days of Bennington and Ganakas. This year's team felt so much different since Cassius left. Good depth, good chemistry, unselfish players and got off to a great start and won 13 straight. It appears that we have been exposed since the USC game. Perhaps the soft schedule led us to very high expectations. The USC and Indiana games should have been W's. I find it perplexing that our 3 point shooting has not improved after 24 games and countless practices. We also seem to have gotten away with what had been working-pounding the ball inside especially last night. We seemed to be enamored with the 3 point shots to the tune of 23 attempts and making only 4. What has changed?
We have 7 extremely difficult games left. 2 vs UM, Purdue, Maryland, Illinois and Wisconsin. The only easier one is Iowa but it will be an away game. Is it possible that we might go 1-6 the rest of the way?
